  • No. You can turn up at a car park on the day too, but pre-booking ensures that you do not have to worry about finding a place to park. 

  • When pre-booking, you pay online at the time of booking. If not pre-booking, you can pay at the pay machine using the methods available - this is shown on the tariff board and pay machines at the car park and on each car park page on the website. 

    You can also use our contactless option, Tap & Go, when available. 

  • Payment methods vary per car park. You can check your chosen car park on this website or on the tariff boards on site. 

  • You can take a look at all of our products here and choose which is best for you. 


  • No, at this point you cannot change your reservation but you can cancel it and make a new one.
  • Yes, you can enter the car park at any time;

    However, the reservation period is valid from 15 minutes before the reservation period to 15 minutes after the reservation period. If you leave more than 15 minutes after the reservation period you will be charged for the extra time at the current parking rate.

    For example: your reservation is from 9:00 AM to 12:00 noon. You arrive at 8:50 AM and leave at 12:10 PM. In this scenario you will not be charged extra. If you arrive at 8:30 AM, however, you will be charged for the extra 15 minutes. In terms of payment, arriving too early or too late will not affect your remaining parking time (i.e. leaving early). 

  • Yes, you can.

  • Yes, you can leave the car park at no additional cost up to 15 minutes after your reservation has expired.

    If you leave more than 15 minutes after your reservation has expired you will be charged for the extra time at the current parking rate. 

  • Yes, you can.

    As soon as your order has been paid you will receive a confirmation e-mail with a QR code.

    You can download and print your confirmation and scan it at the entrance terminal in the car park.

    Although you can print your reservations as many times as you like, the QR code can only be used once. 

  • No, you can't.

    Taking a ticket opens the barrier, which means you can no longer scan your QR code.

    You can only scan your code when the barrier is down. You will have to re-enter the parking facility and scan your QR code to enter.

    Charges apply to entering and exiting the parking facility (flat rate). 

  • No, if you exit within the reserved period you can use the parking ticket you received at the entrance of the parking facility to exit the parking facility.

    If you have exceeded your reservation period, you can pay for the extra time by debit or credit card at the barrier.

    If you don’t have a debit or credit card, you can pay cash at the payment terminal.

  • No, when you arrive you can use your QR code to enter the parking facility.

    If your QR code is valid, a ticket will be generated. With this ticket you can access the parking facility.

    Make sure you do not lose this ticket as you’ll need it to open the pedestrian entrance if it’s closed.

  • You will receive a confirmation e-mail as soon as your reservation has been finalized and processed.

    This usually takes only a few minutes. 

  • We accept payments by credit card and maestro card

  • Your reservation will be processed within a few minutes.

  • With a valid multi-pass reservation, you can enter and exit the parking facility as many times as you like within the reservation period.

    A single pass reservation means you can only exit the parking facility once, after which your reservation will expire despite any remaining time you may have. 

  • Check your spam/junk mail folder.

    If the e-mail is not in your spam folder, contact the Q-Park Customer Service Desk by telephone on +44  (? per call, available Mon - Fri from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM).

    They will send you a new confirmation mail to the e-mail address you provide.

  • Yes, Q-Park uses the latest technology to ensure safety and ease of use.

    Payments are encrypted using SSL technology powered by Ogone.

  • No, you can park at any available parking space, baring any restrictions (e.g. parking spaces for disabled persons). 
  • No, you use the same entrance as all other customers, but your entry is guaranteed even if the parking facility is full.

    Some parking facilities regularly experience peak periods, so please keep this in mind when entering.

    You may have to wait for a parking space. Q-Park cannot be held responsible for long waiting times.

  • A single pass ticket means you can enter and exit the parking facility one time only.

    Your reservation will expire the moment you leave the parking facility, despite any remaining time you may have.

    A Multi pass ticket means you can enter and exit the parking facility an unlimited number of times for the duration of your reservation period.

    This can be useful if you made a long-term reservation and need to use your car. 

  • A Quick Response Code, or QR code, is a two-dimensional barcode that contains information about the nature of the reservation, such as name of the parking facility, parking duration, or product type.

    The code is scanned by optical readers at the entrance to the parking facility. You can scan your confirmation print-out or the screen of your smartphone.

  • If you loose your ticket you should stop by the payment terminal on the way back to your car.

    Press the intercom button and request assistance from our Customer Service Desk, which is available 24/7.

    Please keep your order number at hand, which can be found on your reservation. You will be asked to provide your name and/or your order number. 

  • Yes, you can cancel your online reservation up to one hour before your scheduled arrival time by clicking on the ‘Cancel this reservation’  link in your confirmation e-mail.

    We will automatically transfer the reservation amount to the bank account number with which the reservation was made.

    You can expect the money in your account within 10 business days.


  • Pre-booking means you can prepay for your parking and have less to worry about on the day of your trip. It saves time and starts your day with ease. 

  • As most of our bookings do not specify an arrival time it is not always possible for you to enter immediately if the site is busy. We cannot guarantee that a space will be available at all times of the day of booking but in the unlikely event that the car park is full, the next free space after your arrival would be yours. The team on site will work hard to get you in as soon as possible. In the extremely unlikely event that the car park remains full we would offer you an alternative. 

  • All bookings are done online by going to the car park page you would like to book. Click on the green button and follow the instructions.

    We are unable to take your booking over the phone. 

  • You will be sent an email confirmation and a receipt.

    It will also appear in your My Q-Park account

  • We recommend you open a My Q-Park account as this allows you access to your bookings, the ability to cancel them, print receipts and book quickly for your next visit.

    You can check out as a guest if you wish, but you would not have the benefits as above.


  • By Visa, Mastercard, Visa Debit, or Amex.
  • Full instructions will be sent to you when you book and these do vary by site depending on location.
  • We have some generic timed bookings that might suit you. We have 5 hours, 9 hours and 24 hours that start from the time of arrival.

    If we don’t have anything suitable you are always welcome to park and pay on site if you wish.


  • You need to book before midnight on the day before arrival.

    If you have missed this, please don’t worry as you will be welcome to park and pay on site on the day.
  • Please check your spam/trash folder for your email confirmation and your My Q-Park account to see if your booking is active.

    If you cannot find confirmation, your booking has not been successful and you will need to begin the process again.

  • No, your booking only allows for one entry and exit and assumes your car will be in the car park for the duration of your stay.
  • Of course, you are welcome to stay as long as you like. All you need to do is visit the pay station before you leave and settle any extra parking fees.

    If your fee is calculated incorrectly please press the help button as it may be that your booking fee has not been taken into consideration. 

  • Multi entry and exit bookings are currently only available at York Shambles and Manchester Piccadilly Place. 

    With your multi entry and exit bookings, follow the instructions on your confirmation email and don't forget to validate your ticket on your final exit to complete your visit. 

  • All booking cancellations received a minimum of 24 hours before the date of arrival, will be processed and a refund issued minus 25% of the parking fee paid.

    We are not able to cancel a booking with less than 24 hours notice unless a cancellation waiver was purchased.

    If the cancellation waiver was purchased we will refund the booking in full minus the cost of the waiver.

  • The cancellation waiver allows you to cancel your booking any time before the arrival date.

    If you cancel your booking, a full refund will be give, minus the cost of the cancellation waiver.


  • Please check your booking carefully as we will not be able to amend it once it has been confirmed. In this case your booking would be subject to the usual cancellation terms.

  • This will be sent to you when you book. You can also print a copy from your My Q-Park account.

    Please note we are not able to take your booking over the phone.


  • All of our parking equipment has a help button installed and out team are on hand 24/7 to help you.

Q-Park Rewards app

  • Unfortunately, sometimes cashback does go missing. We try our best to get it back, but we need as much info as possible. To claim for any missing transactions please tap on the 'Profile' button on the app (bottom right - looks like a person), then tap on the 'Missing a Transaction?' button. Fill out the required fields and we will respond to you as soon as possible.

  • If you'd like to close your account, please email and we'll be able to do that for you.

  • It can takes up to 10 days for the funds to reach your bank account or for the gift vouchers to be emailed to you. If you have not received these in this time please email and we can look into this for you.
  • Purchases made on VISA or MasterCard are supported. American Express is not currently supported at this moment in time.
  • We need your card details so we’re able to track and reward the purchases you make.

  • Your cards could be removed from the app for two reasons only. The cards have been added to a separate Q-Park Rewards account or you have the Airtime Rewards app which is operated by the same developer. You will to choose one app or account to use.

  • Visit the My Cards section within the app and simply add the long card number and the expiry date into the data entry field. You can also scan the card using your device’s camera to automatically enter these details.

  • All your card details are stored securely and encrypted with your card provider Visa & MasterCard. We're PCI-DSS compliant and we take the security of our members’ card data very seriously.

  • Yes, just slide right to left on the cards you’d like to delete. All your data will be removed entirely. You can add your cards again once whenever you'd like.

  • When your card expires you’ll need to add a new one. If we know the expiry date we'll try to notify you near the time. You will need to add your new card to the app to keep receiving rewards.

  • Pending transactions can take up to 35 days to clear. This is a restriction set on us by our retail partners to conform with their returns policy. You should see an estimated date when your pending transaction is ready to be released when you click on the transaction in the app.

  • Earning is easy, just spend using a registered card in one of our car parks or retail partners and we’ll track and reward your transactions.

  • You’ll get notified by the app and via SMS or push notification when we have recognised your transaction. You’ll be able to visit the transaction section within the app to see how much you have earned. We recommend enabling push notifications so we can keep you up to date with transactions.

  • Transactions usually take around 5 days to show on our system, however, this can sometimes take up to two weeks. If you have a missing transaction which still does not show after 2 weeks please go onto the Profile section of the app and tap the 'Missing a Transaction?' button. Fill out the form and we can then investigate.

  • You will generally be able to earn rewards in any of the retailer's stores. However, please check the store list within the retailer screen. All locations on the map are stores that you can earn rewards in.

  • The Q-Park Rewards app is only available in the UK and Ireland. Any excluded car parks are listed on our website.

  • The reward percentages change regularly, keep an eye out for the current reward percentage within the retailer screen.

  • For most vouchers, you’ll need to earn £5 before you can cash out. You can see the voucher limits with the rewards section.

  • You redeem your balance directly from the app. Check the rewards section to see the value you have earned and the threshold you can redeem at. Voucher providers have varying reward amounts available.

Disabled Parking

  • We have disabled parking spaces at most of our car parks. Look out for the icon and number of spaces available on the car park pages on this website. If you require further assistance, please get in touch via our Contact Us page. 

  • Disabled parking is charged at the usual rate of the car park. However, our disabled parking bays are wider than our standard bays, and in more convenient locations near to exits and lifts.
